the Fire Dept.for $15

* OUTDOOR BURNING OF DEBRIS AND YARD MATERIALS IS PROHIBITED.

* BURN BARRELS ARE PROHIBITED AFTER 10am AND ON BREEZY OR WINDY DAYS.

* RECREATIONAL WARMING FIRES / CAMPFIRES MUST BE 3 FEET IN DIAMETER OR LESS AND 2 FEET IN HEIGHT OR LESS, 25' FROM STRUCTURES AND 10' FROM COMBUSTIBLE FUELS.

* NEVER LEAVE ANY FIRE UNATTENDED

* A 2016 OUTDOOR BURN PERMIT WILL BE REQUIRED AT ALL OPEN OUTDOOR FIRE LOCATION THIS INCULDES CAMPFIRES, BURN BARELLS, PROPANE DEVICES, AND ANY OTHER OPEN FIRE.

* OPEN BURNING PERMITS, ARE AVAILABLE AT THE LAKE CHINOOK FIRE & RESCUE  STATION BY CONTACTING THE FIRE DISTRICT AT 541-629-8911 FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

PROHIBTED FIRE ACTIVITES INCLUDE:

 •  FIREWORKS

 •  BURNING OF AUTOS & TIRES. 

•  STRUCTURE BURNING - INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRAILIER'S, CAMPERS, RV'S, AND ANY BUILDING. 

•  OPEN FIELD BURNING / DEBRIS BURNING

* GRASS AREAS & BRUSH AREAS.

 • WOOD STOVES & OTHER WOOD APPLIANCES FOR ENCLOSED FIRE'S:

  • A) USED FOR HEATING A HOME ARE ALLOWED
  • B) USED OUTSIDE AS A COOKING SOURCE OR AS A HEAT SOURCE ARE NOT ALLOWED WHEN OPEN BURNING RESTRICTIONS ARE IN EFFECT.
